We pay our respects to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures & clans, nations, and communities across Australia and that our sovereignty has never ceded and to Elders past, present & Future. We thank the ancestors for guiding our journey. We pay our respects to all people that are visitors on Country and to those that call Australia home.

Who We Are.

KWIOL ( Pronounced Qwee Hole) comes from the Gimuy Walubarra Yidindji People KWIOL means Wedge Tailed Eagle. KWIOL Protective Services have been granted permission from the one of the traditional owners of Cairns North QLD – (GIMUY WALUBARRA YIDINDJI and Gimuy Elder Uncle Gudju Gudju to use the name the Eagle. (KWIOL also pay our respects to all other Traditional owners of land including Yirrganydji)

KWIOL represents flying high over the land and people, watching over country anywhere, anytime the Governance over community and its people on country.

The 4 Dot Cycles around the eagle represent Nationwide NORTH – SOUTH – EAST – WEST

Community

KWIOL understands building a greater community - requires a high level of consciousness of the experience of First Nation People and Elders. It assumes that strengths abound in First Nation People, cultures and communities. Starting from the individual to play a role to enhance community safety through strong relationships with the community, business and the private sector. Understanding and encouragement of individual Personal health & safety, wellbeing all leads to progressive greater confident and safety community and country.

KWIOL has the desire & willingness to build a personal relationship from integrity and transparency, in addition to a professional Long term commitment, participating in open exchanges of experiences in culture. KWIOL understands building a trust-based relationship requires a fundamental understanding that "relationship" is the foundation from which all activities happen and that building a good relationships takes time and commitment from a strong foundation.

KWIOL have a deep connection with land and water with Country and our First Nation People which is central to their spiritual identity and non-indigenous brothers and sisters, and have maintained this connection to listen to what is important and develop solutions that will not only solve related issues at hand, but future proof systems for betterment of the individual, communities and country far into the future.
